I couldn't find complete information about Meybod in English in internet so i have to write about this city by myself sometimes i didn't have enough times for searching and writting in English therefor i don't have any choice only finding some subjects in Internet and COPY AND PAST them here
But this time with my own language i have to discribe for you:
This city is so old and one of the oldest cities of my country.
The name of this city is a SASANID word...
In this city you can see a castle it;s name is NARIN GHALEH
In ancient persia we had cities with specific disign:
1 - Kohan dej was the center of the city and governor lived there around Kohan dej or castle we had Sharestan and other people lived there and around sharestan we had Rabaz
But today only some parts of that old city are remained>>> in my photos you can see a Carvansaray and a Cistern. one Ice house and Chaparkhaneh...Chaparkhane was Post office in safavid Era. also you can see entrance of A Kariz or Ghanat..
the day after that night we went to another city in the south of Yazd i forget to tell You Meybod located in the north of Yazd 50 Km farway from the capital of province.
But in the south you will reach to a city that it's climate was inconceivable for me .in The heart of the Desert you can find some Green fields and gardens...
Also there is a high mountainous area near to Taft it's name is DEHE BALA village in the slopes of Shirkoh peak .the height of shirkoh is above 3800 meters
I finished my Trip to Yazd here but you will be with me very soon because i captured some new photos of My homeland Azerbaijan and some important ancient sites there such as Takht e soliman and Soltanyeh Dome.these sites were registerd as human common heritages In Unesco
