A large covered market place, the Grand Bazaar is one of the few places in Tehran that has been kept in its original form. Located in the traditional center of Tehran it is a network of packed shops in covered alleys divided into sections categorized by their particular commodity, such as Jewelers Bazaar, Carpet Bazaar, Shoe Makers Bazaar, Copper Smiths Bazaar...
